Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies Recipe

Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies are soft, sweet cookies made by combining butter, cream cheese, and a boxed strawberry cake mix. The dough is chilled, rolled into balls, coated in powdered sugar, and lightly flattened before baking. These treats yield cookies with a tender texture and a subtle fruit flavor derived from the strawberry cake mix, making a unique variation on classic powdered sugar cookies.

Description

This recipe blends softened butter, cream cheese, and an egg, then incorporates strawberry cake mix to form a smooth cookie dough. Chilling the dough briefly firms it for easier shaping. The dough is portioned with a cookie scoop, rolled into balls, then dipped or rolled in powdered sugar for a sweet outer coating that bakes into a delicate crust.

After baking for about 12-13 minutes, the cookies are soft with a tender crumb and mild strawberry essence. Lightly pressing the tops before baking produces a somewhat flattened shape for even cooking. Optionally, additional powdered sugar can be dusted on the cookies after baking for extra sweetness and visual appeal.
