Strawberry Dump Cake

Strawberry Dump Cake is a straightforward dessert made by layering canned strawberry pie filling with yellow cake mix and melted butter, then baked until the top is golden and crisp. It offers a soft, moist interior with sweet, fruity flavor in an easy, no-fuss manner.

Description

Strawberry Dump Cake is a simple baked dessert combining canned strawberry pie filling, a boxed yellow cake mix, and melted butter layered in a 9x13 inch pan. Baking at 350 degrees Fahrenheit allows the cake mix on top to develop a golden-brown crust as the filling bubbles underneath, creating contrasting textures: a crispy, buttery topping with a soft, sweet, and juicy strawberry base. It requires no mixing or creaming; ingredients are simply spread and poured directly into the pan, making it convenient for casual baking.

This cake can be served warm or at room temperature and pairs well with toppings such as Cool Whip, vanilla ice cream, or homemade whipped cream, which add creaminess and balance to the fruity sweetness. It’s suitable for informal gathering desserts or quick family treats.
