Description
Strawberry Kiss Cookies start with creamed butter and sugar, incorporating egg, milk, and vanilla to create a moist dough. Immediately after baking, a berry-flavored Hershey's Strawberry Ice Cream Cone chocolate kiss is gently pressed into the top of each cookie so it melts slightly inside without fully losing shape. This adds a fruity chocolate center that complements the buttery cookie base.
The cooling cookies firm up and can be stored in an airtight container, preserving their softness. They make a charming dessert or snack, suitable for serving at parties or casual gatherings where a fruity chocolate cookie fits well.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter softened, unsalted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg at room temperature, large
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 bag chocolate kisses Hershey's Strawberry Ice Cream Cone flavor
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy
- Mix in the egg, milk and vanilla until well combined
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until well combined
- Divide dough using a cookie dough scoop and roll into balls
- Place on baking sheet
- For sprinkles, roll ball in sprinkles then place on baking sheet
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden
- Remove from oven and immediately add chocolate kiss pressing down gently
- Let cool and remove to wire rack
- Store in an airtight container
