Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs - 2 Ways

Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs present two ways to enjoy the classic strawberry and pound cake combination: with whipped topping or drizzled white chocolate. Fresh halved strawberries and cubed pound cake are layered onto skewers for easy serving, offering refreshing fruit paired with soft, sweet cake. Both versions create a portable, bite-sized treat that balances sweetness and texture.

Description

In the whipped cream version, skewers are assembled by alternating a strawberry half, a square of pound cake, and a dollop of whipped topping repeatedly until filled. These are chilled until serving, allowing the whipped topping to meld with the fruit and cake.

The white chocolate version involves threading strawberries and pound cake pieces onto skewers with strawberries on the ends, then drizzling melted white chocolate over them. After refrigeration, the chocolate firms, creating a creamy coating to complement the fresh fruit and cake.

Both approaches emphasize simplicity and flexibility, providing a visually appealing way to serve a familiar dessert that can be customized with or without creamy toppings.
