Strawberry S'mores

Strawberry S'mores layer sliced fresh strawberries and bittersweet chocolate between graham crackers topped with toasted marshmallows, creating a fruity twist on the classic campfire treat. The combination offers a warm, gooey texture from the melted marshmallow and chocolate, balanced by the tartness of ripe strawberries and crispness of the crackers. Quick to prepare under a broiler, these s'mores provide a simple dessert option that’s easy to assemble and enjoy anytime.

Description

Strawberry S'mores incorporate the traditional flavor pairing of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows with the addition of fresh strawberries. In this recipe, halved graham crackers are topped with chunks of bittersweet chocolate, followed by sliced strawberries and large marshmallows. The assembled stacks are briefly broiled until the marshmallows puff and toast, melting the chocolate underneath. Finally, another graham cracker square is pressed on top to form a sandwich. The resulting treat combines the richness of melted chocolate and marshmallow with the fresh acidity and juiciness of strawberries, while the graham crackers provide a crunchy contrast.

The method involves carefully broiling the marshmallow to achieve a toasted exterior without burning, which creates a gooey, sweet filling. This dessert is ideal for a quick sweet fix or a convenient indoor alternative to traditional campfire s'mores.
