Strawberry Sorbet

Strawberry Sorbet is a frozen dessert made by pureeing frozen strawberries with honey, water, and lime juice and zest. The resulting sorbet delivers a smooth, icy texture with a bright tang from the lime and subtle sweetness balanced by the honey. Its fresh, fruit-forward flavor makes it a light and refreshing treat for warm days or as a palate cleanser between courses.

Description

This Strawberry Sorbet recipe starts by freezing fresh strawberries solid to prepare for blending. Frozen berries are processed with warm water to achieve a smooth consistency, then sweetened with honey and brightened with fresh lime juice and zest. The sorbet is refrozen to firm up its texture before serving. Using honey or maple syrup allows control over the natural sweetness without overpowering the fruit’s fresh flavors.

The resulting sorbet has a soft, icy texture and a clean taste accentuated by lime’s citrus notes. This makes it an appealing option for a light dessert or a cool snack. Serving it chilled and slightly firm enhances the texture and refreshment factor.
