Summer fruit salad with lime-mint dressing

This summer fruit salad combines ripe pineapple, mango, grapes, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi, and banana with a zesty lime-mint dressing. The dressing’s citrus juices and fresh mint add bright, refreshing flavors to the naturally sweet and juicy fruits. Adding banana just before serving prevents browning, keeping the salad looking fresh. The combination offers a colorful, textured dish ideal for warm weather or as a light dessert.

Description

Summer fruit salad with lime-mint dressing showcases a variety of fresh, chopped fruits, including tropical and berries, tossed together to create a vibrant mix of flavors and textures. The fruits range from the firm bite of pineapple and kiwi to the softness of ripe mango and banana, with grapes and berries adding bursts of sweetness and acidity.

The accompanying dressing combines orange and lime juices with finely chopped mint and a touch of optional honey, bringing citrus brightness and a cooling herbal note that complements the fruit's natural sweetness. Tossing the fruits with the dressing just before serving preserves their freshness and prevents discoloration, especially of the banana slices added last.

This fruit salad works well as a refreshing side dish, snack, or light dessert during summer months. It's visually appealing and balances juicy, sweet, and tart flavors with a fresh herbal lift.
