Sun Dried Tomato and Turkey One Pot Pasta

This Sun Dried Tomato and Turkey One Pot Pasta combines ground turkey and sun dried tomatoes in a single pot for an integrated meal with rich tomato and meat flavors. The pasta cooks directly in the broth and tomato liquids, absorbing those tastes while the turkey is seasoned and browned first for depth. The result is a hearty, saucy pasta dish with chewy sun dried tomatoes and optional Parmesan for added creaminess. It's efficient to prepare and offers a balanced, savory meal suitable for busy weeknights or anytime a comforting pasta is desired.

Description

Sun Dried Tomato and Turkey One Pot Pasta features ground turkey seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, browned first to develop flavor. Dried pasta, sun dried tomatoes in oil, canned diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and water are combined in the pot to cook together, allowing the pasta to absorb the tomato-rich broth. Simmering ensures the pasta is tender and infused with the savory flavors of turkey and sun dried tomato. Optionally, grated Parmesan cheese is stirred in at the end to enrich the sauce, adding a creamy touch.

The mixture yields a balanced dish where the meaty texture of ground turkey is complemented by chewy sun dried tomatoes and a bright tomato base. This one pot approach reduces cleanup and speeds up dinner preparation without sacrificing depth of flavor.

To serve, let the pasta cool slightly and garnish with additional Parmesan, crushed red pepper flakes, and fresh basil if available. The recipe can also be adapted for a vegetarian variation by substituting plant-based crumbles for the turkey.
