Instructions
- Fill a large dispenser with the water.
- Add 8 tea bags to the dispenser.
- Cover the dispenser and sit it out in the sun to allow the tea to steep into the water.
- Generally, it will take 3-4 hours for the tea to fully brew but this will depend on how hot it is and how big your dispenser is.
- Then stir in the honey and lemon slices. Add honey based on how sweet you prefer your tea.
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
Notes
- *I made this recipe with black tea, but you can easily make it with your favorite types of herbal teas or use a combination to make your favorite flavor.
- *This recipe is for 1 gallon of tea. You can easily add the number of tea bags to fill your dispenser. For example, if your dispenser holds 1.5 gallons then you would add 12 bags of tea, etc.
- *The honey sweetener is optional. I find it’s best to use a liquid sweetener as sugar will not dissolve since the water is not boiling.
