Ingredients
Stadium
- 12 pieces cartons of soda 12 packs
- packing tape
- 2 pieces 12 x 8 inch foil cake pans
Decorating
- colored candy like Skittles or M&Ms
- Icing
- paper straws
- yellow straws
- Pipe cleaners
- Wooden skewers
- paper flags
Field
- salsa
- spinach dip
Snacks
- pretzels
- Popcorn
- Veggies
- tortilla chips
Instructions
- Cut the soda cartons in half and take out the soda.
- Draw a horizontal line 3 inches up from the bottom of each half carton. Draw diagonal lines down to the horizontal line and cut each side to make slanted stands.
- Using packing tape to hold the stands together. I used 4 for each side and 2 for the end zones, but you could make your snack stadium smaller or larger.
- Decorate the "stands" with paper straws and paper flags as desired.
- Cut one of the cake pans in half and spread it with icing. Use candy to create two colorful end zones in the icing.
- Put pipe cleaners inside yellow plastic straws and shape them into goal posts.
- When it is game time fill the other cake pan with salsa and pipe lines of spinach dip on the "field".
- Fill the cardboard stands with your favorite snacks and arrange them around the tray of salsa.
