Ingredients
- 1 French bread sliced, or Italian bread
- ½ cup butter softened, salted or unsalted
- 3-4 garlic minced, cloves
- 2 tablespoons parsley finely chopped, fresh
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated, or more
- black pepper freshly ground, to taste
- Italian seasoning optional, or dried oregano, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf into ½-inch thick slices.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter Spread: In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, grated parmesan cheese, and black pepper until well combined.
- Spread the Butter Mixture: Using a butter knife generously spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Air Fry the Bread: Place the bread slices, buttered side up, in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 4-6 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and reaches as crispy as you like.
- Repeat: Repeat the process until all the bread slices are done.
- Serve: Serve hot or warm sprinkling some Italian seasoning or dried oregano (if adding) on top. Enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust Cooking Time: Cooking times may vary based on the type of bread and your air fryer. Keep an eye on the bread to make sure it doesn't burn.
- No air fryer? Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the garlic bread on a large sheet pan and bake until the tops are golden and the edges turn brown, about 10-12 minutes. Watch closely to avoid burning and ensure a crispy texture.
