Sweet and Sour Pork Noodles

Sweet and Sour Pork Noodles feature thinly sliced pork marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic chili sauce, sugar, and vinegar, combined with egg noodles, garlic, and optional bean sprouts. Stir-fried together and seasoned with oyster sauce and salt, the dish balances savory, tangy, and slightly sweet flavors. The bean sprouts add crunch, while the quick-cooked noodles remain al dente.

Description

This recipe mixes tender pork slices marinated with a blend of savory, sweet, and tangy ingredients with egg noodles and fresh aromatics. The pork absorbs the marinade during a brief rest, ensuring depth of flavor without overpowering the other components. Garlic is stir-fried first to infuse the oil, followed by pork and crunchy bean sprouts, which retain freshness and texture. Adding oyster sauce and seasoning completes the layering of umami notes. The final stir mix gently combines all ingredients, maintaining the noodles' firm bite and the sprouts' crispness. It is a straightforward stir-fry that provides an appealing balance of flavors and textures.
