Taco Stuffed Shells

Taco Stuffed Shells combine jumbo pasta shells filled with a seasoned ground beef mixture, salsa, and cheddar cheese, baked until bubbly. The filling blends taco seasoning and salsa for a rich, savory flavor that contrasts with the tender pasta. Baked covered, the cheese melts on top, creating a cohesive dish ideal for a hearty family meal or casual dinner.

Description

Taco Stuffed Shells feature jumbo pasta shells cooked and drained before being filled with browned ground beef mixed with taco seasoning, water, salsa, and cheddar cheese. The shells are topped with additional salsa and cheese, then baked covered at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. This melding of pasta with seasoned beef and cheese creates a comforting texture of tender pasta enveloping flavorful meat and melted cheese.

The taco seasoning and salsa infuse the filling with a familiar Southwestern flavor profile, balanced by the creaminess of the cheddar cheese. Baking the filled shells melds the ingredients together and slightly melts the cheese topping without drying the dish. This recipe works well served as a filling main course for casual dinners or family meals.
