Takeout Fried Rice
Description
This fried rice recipe begins with cooking scrambled eggs seasoned with salt and black pepper, which are set aside. The pan is then used to sauté frozen peas and carrots in sesame oil, followed by garlic for aromatic flavor. Cooked rice is added and stirred to combine with the vegetables, then green onions and soy sauce are folded in before returning the eggs to the mixture.
The cooking method ensures the rice is heated through and lightly coated with soy sauce, while the vegetables remain tender-crisp. The scrambled eggs add protein and richness, and the sesame oil imparts a subtle nutty aroma. This dish can be served hot as a quick dinner or side with Asian-inspired meals.
