Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste, or puree
- ⅔ cup honey
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup fresh cilantro
- ¼ cup chopped cashews
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon tamarind paste, ⅔ cup honey, and ⅓ cup olive oil. Heat in the microwave until it has just come together smoothly, about 20 seconds.
- Pour the vinegar, tamarind, and honey mixture into a food processor or blender along with ⅓ cup fresh cilantro, ¼ cup chopped cashews, 2 garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and ½ teaspoon turmeric.
- Pulse until everything has blended together into a smooth, even consistency.
- Pour the sauce into a bowl and enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- If you want the sauce to be more tart, add more tamarind paste. To sweeten it add more honey.
