Texas Roadhouse Honey Butter
Report
Our simple recipe for Whipped Honey Butter is inspired by the popular Texas Roadhouse recipe. In our homemade butter, we focus on the honey, giving it a lighter, cleaner, and even yummier taste!

Equipments used:
Notes
- kosher salt
- Storage TipsStore whipped honey butter on the counter for 1 day, then it’s best if it’s refrigerated. Honey butter will be good as long as the original best-by date on your butter. Cover in an airtight container or jar for best storage; it may even be frozen; thaw overnight in the fridge. Bring to room temperature before serving. If separation occurs, simply re-whip!
- If using unsalted butter, be sure to add ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt.
- Use your favorite butter, European butter will yield a much creamier and richer honey butter.
- While most copycat recipes for Texas Roadhouse Honey Butter use a small amount of honey and the rest powdered sugar, my recipe is cleaner, focusing on the honey taste. Our taste testers agreed that this version was SO much better than the sugar-loaded alternative!
- Spread It: Slather this honey-butter goodness on your morning toast, English muffins, biscuits, warm rolls, cornbread, banana bread, muffins, and scones for a sweet, buttery kick.
- Pancakes and Waffles: Forget regular butter and syrup! Honey butter is the perfect topping for pancakes, waffles, or French toast—next level delish!
- Glaze: Brush this stuff on roasted veggies, grilled chicken, pork, or salmon for a sweet glaze that'll make your taste buds dance. For instance, use honey butter as a glaze for baked ham—it adds sweetness and gives that glossy, honey-baked ham vibe!
- Sweet Potatoes: Try our air fryer sweet potato, cracking it open and placing a scoop of honey butter on it--it's drool-worthy!
- Desserts: Mix it into cookie dough, sandwich it between cookies, or drizzle it over popcorn for a seriously sweet treat.
- Baking: Stir it into muffin or cake batter to make it extra moist and flavorful.
- Sauces and Frosting: Sweeten up sauces or whip the butter with powdered sugar for a dreamy frosting on cakes and cupcakes.
- Corn on the Cob: Spread it on hot corn on the cob for a tasty, sweet twist that'll make your barbecue guests smile.
- Dip: Dunk apple slices, pears, or berries into it for a fruity snack with a honey-butter twist.
- Oatmeal and Smoothies: Stir it into oatmeal for a touch of sweetness or blend it into smoothies for a creamy, indulgent treat.
- Favorite Bread: Try it on Banana bread, our sourdough banana bread, pumpkin streusel muffins, or your favorite homemade bread!
- Popcorn! Melt in place of regular butter and drizzle over freshly popped popcorn!
