Thai Black Pepper Beef Stir-Fry Recipe
Description
Thai Black Pepper Beef Stir-Fry requires thinly sliced beef marinated in a mixture of egg white, cornstarch, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, which tenderizes the meat and gives it a smooth coating for stir-frying. The beef cooks quickly in hot oil with garlic for aroma. Addition of black peppercorns, golden mountain sauce, oyster sauce, and water builds a savory, slightly peppery sauce that envelops the beef. Onions, bell peppers in mixed colors, and green onions are added near the end, cooked to the desired softness to preserve a slight crunch and vibrant color.
The resulting dish offers a spicy kick from whole black peppercorns combined with the umami richness of oyster and seasoning sauces. The contrast between tender beef and crisp vegetables gives a balanced texture. This stir-fry method is typical in Thai cooking, favoring quick, high-heat preparation to lock in flavor and freshness.
Serve this dish immediately to retain peppery aroma and vegetable texture. Choice cuts such as sirloin or flank steak are recommended for best results. Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator when stored in an airtight container and should be consumed within 3 days for optimal taste and safety.
