Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground sweet italian sausage
- 1 pear peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 cup rice "bread" crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 TB garlic powder
- 1 TB onion powder

Instructions
- Add all ingredients except the pear to a large mixing bowl. Work together by hand until well combined.
- Place mixture in a greased bread loaf pan. Lay pear slices on top.
- Bake for 1 hr - 1 hr 15 minutes at 350°F ; Broil for an additional 7 minutes or until loaf is golden brown on top.
- Accompany with balsamic reduction (instructions in post)
