The Best Peach Crumble
Report
Peach crumble is peaches baked in a sweet sugar sauce, topped with a decadent buttery cookie-like topping. Close to a crisp, but there is no oatmeal, making the topping soft and buttery!

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375° and grease a large deep dish pie plate and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the peaches, sugar, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salted butter. Scoop out into the prepared pie plate, smoothing it into an even layer of peaches.
- In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs, like sand.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the peaches.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and peaches are bubbling.
- Remove and let sit for a few minutes, then scoop into bowls to serve warm. Top with vanilla ice cream with a small dusting of nutmeg for the perfect dessert!
Notes
- If using unsalted butter, add in a 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the topping mixture, and a pinch to the filling.
- I prefer the skins on the peaches, you can always remove them if wanted
