The Ultimate Chicken Noodle Soup
Description
This soup starts by combining chicken, condensed cheese soup, chicken broth, milk, chopped celery and carrots, ranch dressing mix, and bacon bits in a pot and bringing it to a boil. Then it simmers to meld flavors and soften the vegetables. Lastly, uncooked egg noodles and shredded cheddar cheese are stirred in and cooked until the noodles are tender and the cheese melts smoothly into the broth.
The result is a creamy soup that is richer than traditional chicken noodle soups because of the cheese soup base and cheddar. The ranch mix adds savory herbs and spices, and the bacon provides a smoky flavor layer. The vegetables remain soft but not mushy, contributing mild sweetness and texture.

Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken cooked and shredded
- 1 can cheese soup condensed, 10.75 oz
- 6-8 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 3 talks celery chopped
- 2 cups carrot chopped
- 1 package dry ranch dressing mix
- 2.25 oz bacon bits or 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 8 oz egg noodles
Instructions
- In a large Dutch oven, combine the chicken, cheese soup, broth, milk, celery, carrots, Ranch mix, and bacon bits.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for about 25 minutes.
- Stir in the uncooked egg noodles and cheddar cheese.
- Allow to cook an additional 8 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
- Serve soup warm!!
