Tofu Puff braised with Chinese cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage cut into small pieces, large
  • 1 tofu puff around 150g, cut into halves, bag
  • 3 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce light
  • 1.5 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp. doubanjiang chili bean paste
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Prepare all the seasonings and mix water with cornstarch.
  2. Mix light soy sauce, doubanjiang, oyster sauce, cornstarch water in a small bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a pot or cast pot, fry garlic and chili peppers until aromatic.
  4. Then place cabbage, tofu puff and the mixed sauce.
  5. Cover the lid and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir from time to time to avoid the cabbage sticking to the bottom.
  6. Add pinch of salt if necessary and add coriander if using. It is so juicy and full of flavor.
