Tomato Peach Burrata Salad Recipe

This Tomato Peach Burrata Salad combines thinly sliced peaches with halved cherry tomatoes, prosciutto pieces, and chunks of creamy burrata cheese. Seasoned with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and salt, and garnished with fresh basil leaves, the salad contrasts juicy fruit, fresh herbs, and mild cheese, offering a refreshing balance of sweet and savory flavors ideal for a light appetizer or summer side dish.

Description

The Tomato Peach Burrata Salad Recipe features ripe peaches sliced thinly as the base layer, topped with juicy cherry tomato halves and savory slices of prosciutto. Adding pieces of fresh burrata imparts a creamy texture that complements the fruit and meat. The salad is finished with a simple dressing of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and salt, which enhances the sweetness of the peaches and the saltiness of the prosciutto without overpowering the freshness. Whole basil leaves add a mildly peppery aroma and a bright herbal note.

The textures vary between the soft juiciness of the peaches and tomatoes, the tender yet chewy prosciutto, and the smooth creaminess of burrata, making it an interesting and well-rounded salad. The dish requires no cooking beyond simple slicing, making it quick to assemble.

This salad can be served immediately to maintain the freshness of the ingredients and is well-suited as a starter or a refreshing side to grilled dishes during warmer months.
