Triple Chocolate Pumpkin Bread

Triple Chocolate Pumpkin Bread blends cocoa, pumpkin puree, and three kinds of chocolate in a moist, rich loaf. The batter is thick, combining flour, cocoa powder, sugars, pumpkin, eggs, and chocolate chips. Baked until a toothpick comes out clean, it is topped with a warm chocolate cream drizzle that enhances the chocolate flavor and adds moisture.

Description

This loaf starts with dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder. Butter and two sugars are creamed until fluffy before mixing in eggs, pumpkin puree, and milk. The wet pumpkin mixture and semi-sweet chocolate chips are added to the dry mix and combined just until smooth, creating a dense batter that holds chocolate chips evenly.

Spread into a greased and floured 9"×5" pan, the bread bakes at 350°F for 40-50 minutes, developing a tender texture with chocolate notes throughout. A toothpick test ensures it is fully baked without overdrying.

The topping is a warm ganache made by melting chocolate chips with light cream and butter, then drizzled over the cooled loaf, adding a creamy, rich finish that complements the autumnal pumpkin base and bittersweet chocolate flavor.
