Tuna Pasta Salad

Tuna Pasta Salad combines cooked fusilli pasta, canned tuna, sweetcorn, red onion, cucumber, and tomato with a creamy dressing of mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and mustard. Chilled or served immediately, it offers a cold, tangy, and textured salad ideal for light meals or picnics.

Description

This salad starts by cooking fusilli pasta to al dente, then rinsing it with cold water to prevent sticking and cool it down. Separately, a dressing is mixed from mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and mustard, providing a creamy and slightly tangy base. Fresh vegetables like red onion, cucumber, and tomato are chopped and incorporated along with sweetcorn and tuna for protein and sweetness.

The combination results in a balanced cold pasta salad with varied textures—from tender pasta and flaky tuna to crisp vegetables. It can be enjoyed immediately or refrigerated to allow the flavors to meld, enhancing depth. Variations with different vegetables are possible depending on preference.

Cooking pasta to al dente means it retains slight firmness, not soft or mushy.Vegetables in the salad can be substituted; peas are a popular alternative to sweetcorn. The nutritional information provided is for reference only and not guaranteed.
