Instructions

  1. Lay two pieces of bread on a cutting board.
  2. On one slice of bread, spread a thin layer of mayo thinly and add a few slices of cheese on top. The thinner the cheese, the better. There is less chance of getting food stuck to the roof of your mouth.
  3. On the other slice of bread, spread dill pickle mustard and layer thinly sliced apple slices on top.
  4. Next, add the turkey breast on top of the apples. Then, add the pickle coins. If you’d like, add another squirt of mayo to act as some sandwich glue.
  5. Toss the arugula in some fresh lemon juice & salt and pepper before adding it on top of the turkey.
  6. For extra crunch, add dill pickle chips to the sandwich on top of the arugula.
  7. Now, let's flip the sandwich together. Take the piece of bread with just mayo and cheese on it and place it on top of the other slice. Push it all together. You'll hear a crunch if you add potato chips to it :)
  8. Slice in half and ENJOY!

Notes

  • I recommend making this sandwich the day you'll eat it. If you are preparing it for lunch in the morning, wrap it tightly in saran wrap and place in a baggie so it stays fresh and secure.
  • This sandwich tastes delicious grilled. Butter each side of the bread and grill for 3-4 minutes on medium heat on each side until golden brown.
