Twix Caramel Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • pie crust ready-made

Filling

  • 6-7 apple peeled and sliced, 1 cup diced
  • Twix Candy Bars
  • ½ lemon juice
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt

Crumble Topping

  • 1 ½ butter cold, unsalted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ tsp salt toppings
  • ½ cup Twix diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees In a large bowl adds your apples, lemon juice, sugar, and flour. Toss to combine
  2. Add the diced Twix to the sliced apples and toss to combine.
  3. Place the apples Twix mixture in the pie shell. Set to the side.
  4. In a large bowl add the 1 ½ sticks of cold unsalted butter,2 cups all-purpose flour,½ cup packed brown sugar, and ¼ tsp salt. Using a party cutter mix to combine.
  5. Top the pie with crumb topping.
  6. Bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  8. Top with chocolate topping and diced Twix. ENJOY!
