Ingredients
- milk chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips; brands THM, Bake Believe, Lily's, ChocZero
- white chocolate chips brands Bake Believe or ChocZero
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil makes chocolate softer to chew, optional; per 12 ounces chocolate chips
- oil-based food coloring optional
- flavorings optional
- strawberries washed and dried; optional
Instructions
- Pour the chocolate chips into microwave safe silicone or plastic measuring cups or bowls. I find measuring cups easier because it pours into the molds easier.
- Pop the cups or bowls in the microwave one at a time. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat microwaving for 30 seconds and stirring until the chocolate is melted.
- If you’re going to color and/or flavor a portion of the chocolates, now is the time to do so.
- If you want to add a colored portion inside any of the molds, do this next using the paint brush.
- Fill the molds with chocolate.
- Freeze until solid (about 20 minutes give or take).
- Remove the chocolates carefully from the molds.
- Decorate the chocolates as desired by splattering or striping them with colored or non-colored melted chocolate, coconut flakes, colored sweetener, or whatever else you can find to do this.
- If desired, use some of the melted chocolate to dip strawberries. Make sure the strawberries are thoroughly dry before doing this.
- Put the chocolates and any dipped strawberries in the mini muffin liners in the gift box.
Notes
- *ChocZero has an ingredients that is not THM approved, so it is considered a Personal Choice Item
- NOTE: There are no nutrition facts on this recipe because it will totally depend on which chocolate chips and which molds you use.
