Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted and cooled, unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract pure
  • 4 egg large
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet

Chocolate Ganache ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ½ cups Sprinkles Valentine’s Day

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 9x13 baking pan with baking spray.
  2. Using a medium bowl, place the butter into the microwave and melt according to the directions on your microwave.
  3. Using a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, oil, and sugars.
  4. Whisk in the eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla extract.
  5. Using a large bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients into the wet.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour batter into the baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool completely.

Ganache

  1. Using a small pot, bring the heavy cream to a boil.
  2. Pour over the chocolate chips in a medium bowl and let sit for 1 minute.
  3. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Spread evenly onto the brownies.
  5. Sprinkle Valentine's Day Sprinkles on top of the ganache.
  6. Allow the ganache to set before cutting into bars and enjoying with a large glass of milk!
