Microwaving results in a soft, moist cake with a light crumb and slight sweetness, accented by the vanilla and sprinkles. It forms directly in the mug it’s cooked in, meaning no pans are needed.
This single-serving portion is convenient for a quick dessert or snack. It is best enjoyed warm after resting for about 5 minutes. Any leftover cake can be stored in the refrigerator but freshness diminishes after a few days.
