Ingredients

For the bread

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3/4 cup plant milk
  • 4 tbsp flaxseed flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • 4-6 slices of bread/toast
  • coconut oil for frying
  • coconut yogurt for frying

Caramelized apples

  • 2 apples
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana and cut into slices.
  2. Put bananas, vegetable milk, spices, and flaxseed flour in a blender bowl. Blend and leave for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat some coconut oil in a large skillet.
  4. Dip slices of bread in the batter for a few seconds on each side. Fry the slices over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, gently turning with a spatula until golden brown

Caramelized Apples

  1. Peel and dice the apples.
  2. In another skillet, heat the coconut oil and, when completely melted, add the brown sugar and apples. Fry for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Serve slices of bread with caramelized apples and coconut yogurt to taste
