Vegan No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls With Rice Krispies (Peanut Butter Bon Bons)
Description
The Vegan No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls blend smooth or chunky peanut butter with powdered sugar and crisp rice cereal, creating a sweet, textured mixture. Formed into small balls and frozen briefly, they firm up to hold their shape. Dipping the frozen balls in melted vegan semisweet chocolate creates a thin, glossy coating that hardens once returned to the freezer.
The result is a treat with a contrast of creamy peanut butter interior and crisp chocolate shell, accented by the crunchy rice cereal. The recipe requires minimal ingredients and simple assembly, making it accessible and quick to prepare without baking.
These bon bons can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer and served as snacks, dessert bites, or party treats. They offer a plant-based dessert option with familiar flavors of peanut butter and chocolate, while the rice cereal adds a light crunch that differentiates them from dense truffles.
You can customize the recipe by adding vanilla extract for flavor enhancement, a touch of sea salt on top for texture and taste balance, or substituting the rice cereal with crushed graham crackers. For a protein boost, protein powder can be used in place of powdered sugar to thicken the mixture.
