Vodka Jello Shots

Vodka Jello Shots combine flavored gelatin with vodka, producing small, firm gelatin treats with an alcoholic kick. The recipe uses equal parts of hot and cold water to dissolve gelatin powder, with vodka mixed in before chilling. These fun, portion-controlled servings set in plastic cups and are chilled until firm.

Description

Vodka Jello Shots provide a playful way to mix flavored gelatin dessert with vodka into individual servings. The preparation begins by dissolving gelatin powder in boiling water to ensure smoothness, then blending in cold water and vodka to achieve the desired consistency and alcohol content. Pouring the mixture into small containers allows it to set firmly in the refrigerator over 1.5 to 2.5 hours, producing bite-sized gelatin portions with the flavor of the chosen gelatin and the bite of vodka.

This technique makes it easy to create flavored shots suitable for parties or gatherings, with the precision to control flavor intensity and alcohol level. Storing leftovers refrigerated keeps them fresh until served. The recipe can be repeated with other gelatin flavors for variety.
