  • 4 links Italian sausage casings removed; ~454 g
  • 2 large carrot roughly chopped
  • 1 large onion roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 small-medium zucchini trimmed and roughly chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper roughly chopped
  • 2 cups spinach leaves
  • 2 oz can crushed fire roasted tomatoes 2 x 796 mL
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp oregano dried
  • 1 tsp basil dried
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp red pepper flakes crushed
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper fresh ground
