White Bean Burgers
Description
White Bean Burgers bring together drained, rinsed white beans mashed with diced bread and a blend of spices including garlic salt, onion powder, chili powder, and cumin. Nutritional yeast adds a subtle depth of flavor. Fresh minced parsley and rosemary are folded into the bean mixture before shaping it into small patties. The patties are pan-fried in olive oil over medium heat until they develop a light golden-brown crust on each side.
The cooking process helps to bind the ingredients and creates a soft, tender center with a lightly crisp exterior. The herbs and seasonings provide a balanced savory profile without overwhelming the delicate bean flavor. Cooking in a hot skillet with olive oil ensures the burgers hold together well and gain a desirable texture.
These bean burgers can be served hot alongside fresh salads and sliced tomatoes, offering a wholesome vegetarian option for lunch or dinner. They work well topped on buns or alongside grain bowls or roasted vegetables. The recipe yields a satisfying, meatless patty with fresh herbal complexity and mild spice.
