White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

These White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies combine soft butter and sugars creamed together with eggs and vanilla, creating a rich dough studded with chopped macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips. Baking produces cookies with lightly browned edges and a tender center, enhanced by the nuts’ crunch and the sweetness of white chocolate. Pressing extra nuts and chips on top adds texture and visual appeal. They store well in airtight containers.

Description

The recipe starts by creaming softened butter with brown and white sugars until light, then incorporating eggs and vanilla extract for moisture and flavor. Dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt are combined separately before gently mixing into the wet ingredients. Chopped macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips are folded in, distributing texture and sweetness throughout the dough. Scooping two-tablespoon portions onto parchment-lined sheets and baking at 375°F results in cookies with slightly crisp edges and soft centers. Allowing cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring prevents breakage, and pressing extra chips and nuts on top adds a finishing touch. Properly stored, these cookies stay fresh and maintain texture.
