White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
Description
This cookie recipe uses melted butter combined with brown and granulated sugar, beaten together then mixed with vanilla and an egg to create a smooth dough. Flour, baking soda, and salt are added to build the body without toughness. Once macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips are folded in, the dough is portioned into large balls and baked at 350°F for 11 minutes.
The cookies hold their shape well, baking up thick and soft without the need for chilling. Allowing them to cool on the baking sheet before transferring helps them set with a tender interior and slight crisp at the edges. Storage in an airtight container keeps them fresh for up to five days.
You can easily swap out mix-ins like nuts or chocolate chips depending on preference while keeping the dough base the same.

- You can substitute other types of nuts or chocolate chips according to your preference.
- Store the baked cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
