White Chocolate Popcorn

White Chocolate Popcorn mixes freshly popped popcorn with a smooth vanilla candy coating, enhanced by colorful M&M’s candy pieces. The melted vanilla bark binds the popcorn and candies together, creating a sweet, crunchy treat ideal for casual snacking and parties. This recipe yields a visually appealing snack with a creamy sweetness that complements the toasted popcorn.

Description

To prepare White Chocolate Popcorn, microwave plain popcorn bags are popped and transferred to a large bowl, with un-popped kernels removed for texture safety. Vanilla bark, used as a candy coating, is melted gently over low heat until smooth. This melted coating is poured over the popcorn and stirred to ensure even coverage. Colorful M&M’s candies are folded in and the mixture is spread out on parchment paper to set and harden, typically taking about 15 minutes. The result is a blend of crisp popcorn coated in sweet vanilla candy with bursts of chocolate from the M&M’s.

This snack can be prepped ahead and stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to one week maintaining freshness. It pairs well as an easy party snack or movie-time treat.
