White Chocolate Popcorn
Description
To prepare White Chocolate Popcorn, microwave plain popcorn bags are popped and transferred to a large bowl, with un-popped kernels removed for texture safety. Vanilla bark, used as a candy coating, is melted gently over low heat until smooth. This melted coating is poured over the popcorn and stirred to ensure even coverage. Colorful M&M’s candies are folded in and the mixture is spread out on parchment paper to set and harden, typically taking about 15 minutes. The result is a blend of crisp popcorn coated in sweet vanilla candy with bursts of chocolate from the M&M’s.
This snack can be prepped ahead and stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to one week maintaining freshness. It pairs well as an easy party snack or movie-time treat.
