White Trash Candy

White Trash Candy is a no-bake snack mix combining corn and rice cereals, Fruity Loops, pretzels, peanuts, and M&M's coated in melted vanilla-flavored almond bark. Once mixed and cooled, it breaks into bite-sized clusters with a sweet, salty, and crunchy profile, perfect for casual snacking or parties.

Description

This treat starts with a combination of cereals — corn Chex, rice Chex, and Fruit Loops — blended with peanuts, pretzels, and colorful M&M candies to create a varied and textured base. The mixture is then coated thoroughly with melted vanilla almond bark, which hardens upon cooling and binds the mix together into clumps.

The almond bark provides a sweet, creamy coating that contrasts with the salty and crunchy elements from the pretzels and nuts, along with the fruity cereal colors and chocolate candies. Because it requires no baking, preparation is quick, simply involving mixing and melting steps, followed by cooling to set.

Once cooled and solidified on foil-lined trays, the candy is broken into chunks for easy serving and storage. It is ideal for gatherings, snack bowls, or to package as simple homemade treats.
