Instructions
- Chop the top and bottom off your butternut squash.
- Now the butternut squash is level use this to slice your butternut squash in half lengthways.
- Load the butternut squash into the slow cooker and cook for 2 hours on high.
- When the slow cooker has 20 minutes left prep and cook your instant pot Bolognese.
- When the slow cooker is done, use a dessert spoon to scoop out the seeds.
- Using the slow cooker as your bowl, hold up the butternut squash and ring out the extra wet liquid.
- Pour Bolognese over your butternut squash half and serve.
Notes
- I recommend that you follow step #6 and squeeze out extra liquid as butternut squash carries a lot and it can make your dinner watery.
- If you want to cook on low opt for 5 hours cook time.
