Share:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup coconut palm sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 cups large flake oats
- 2 tablespoon hemp hearts
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream together the butter and the coconut palm sugar.
- Once they are combined thoroughly, add in the egg, followed by the vanilla. Mix in completely.
- Whisk together the flour and baking soda, then add to the butter mixture until combined.
- Add the oat flakes and hemp hearts, stir them in completely. Then add in the chocolate chips. Mix until combined.
- Take sized pieces of dough and roll into balls. Press them flat with the bottom of a glass, making sure to wet the bottom of the glass with water if the cookies stick.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. This will ensure soft, chewy cookies if you slightly underbake them.
- Remove from the oven and cool on the sheets for 5 minutes, then remove to a rack.
