Whole30 Baked Meatballs
Description
The recipe combines grass-fed ground beef with finely chopped onion, minced garlic, almond protein powder, and a seasoning blend of sea salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, and fresh parsley. These ingredients are mixed thoroughly and shaped into approximately 1.5-inch meatballs, spaced on a parchment-lined baking sheet to promote even cooking.
The meatballs are baked at 375°F until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F, ensuring safe doneness while maintaining juiciness. After initial baking, they are placed over marinara sauce in a casserole dish and baked further for 20 minutes to meld flavors and heat through.
This dish pairs well with vegetable-based sides like veggie noodles or cauliflower rice, consistent with Whole30 dietary preferences. The recipe emphasizes proper cooking temperature and suggests using a meat thermometer for accuracy.
