Yogurt with Berries and Pecans

Yogurt with Berries and Pecans layers creamy plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries, such as raspberries, and crunchy pecans or walnuts, all drizzled with raw honey. This simple combination offers a balance of tart, sweet, and nutty flavors along with varied textures, making for a fresh and wholesome dessert or snack.

Description

This easy preparation involves arranging layers of plain Greek yogurt alternated with fresh berries and pecans or walnuts in a serving dish. The tartness of the yogurt complements the natural sweetness of the berries and honey, while the nuts add a satisfying crunch. Raspberries are highlighted as a favorite choice, but berries like blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, or pomegranate arils may be used according to preference. Drizzling raw honey over the top adds a touch of natural sweetness and helps bind the components.

The assembly can be customized by the amount and order of ingredients, allowing for varying textures and flavors in each spoonful. This dish is ideal for breakfast, a light dessert, or a snack, providing protein and antioxidants from yogurt and berries coupled with healthy fats from nuts.
