Report
Homemade personal pizzas made in your air fryer with a delicious crispy on the outside and tender on the inside ready-made base that you might not have thought of using before - naan bread! Let everyone customize with their favorite toppings, and you've got a simple but tasty meal in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 naan bread ready baked (full sized), or several mini naans
- 3 tablespoons pasta sauce jarred or fresh of your choice
- 4 mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 3 sundried tomatoes cut into pieces, or use sundried tomato strips
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- Black pepper to taste
- ¼ bunch fresh basil fresh (1 handful)
to serve (suggestion)
- A simple salad such as green salad, garden salad or Greek salad.
Instructions
- Pre-heat the air fryer to 375F / 190C. If you like extra crispy pizza, add the naan bread (without the toppings) to the air fryer at this point.
- Spread the pasta sauce over the naan bread, then scatter with the mozzarella and tomatoes, parmesan (if using), and black pepper. This can either be done inside the air fryer, or on a wooden board or plate.
- Cook in the air fryer basket for 5-7 minutes, or until the mozzarella is bubbling and starting to brown. Check half way through if making for the first time in your air fryer.
- Scatter with the fresh basil and serve immediately alone or with a simple salad.

Notes
- Serving size: This recipe is for 1 naan bread pizza, which serves 1. For more people, repeat the recipe as many times as you wish!
- Ingredient amounts: Approximate! Add as many of the toppings as you like.
- Mozzarella: If you can't find bocconcini (mini mozzarella balls), no problem - just use a regular-sized mozzarella ball torn into shreds. Even grated mozzarella cheese will be fine in a pinch.
- Types of naan bread: If a whole full-sized naan bread will not fit into your air fryer, either cut it into pieces that will fit, or use mini sized naan breads. Garlic, tandoori, cheese and peshwari naans will also work.
- Serving: I like to keep this meal very easy by serving with just a simple fresh salad. Try a Greek salad or Greek lettuce salad!
- Cooking in the oven instead: In case you'd prefer to make this in your regular oven (perhaps you already have the oven turned on), simply cook at 410F/210C for 15-20 minutes until nicely browned and crisp.
