10 Minute Grilled Bruschetta

This 10 Minute Grilled Bruschetta features toasted sourdough topped with a mixture of halved cherry tomatoes, finely minced garlic, fresh basil, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The quickly grilled bread gains charred grill marks and crispness complementing the fresh, savory toppings.

Description

The 10 Minute Grilled Bruschetta recipe begins by combining cherry tomatoes with minced garlic, kosher salt, black pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and chiffonade-cut fresh basil to create a vibrant topping. Meanwhile, sourdough bread slices are brushed with olive oil and grilled quickly over high heat until toasted and marked by the grill. Slices are cut in half, then heaped with the tomato mixture.

The result is a contrast of textures and flavors: warm, smoky, crisp bread underneath the juicy, tangy, and aromatic tomato topping. The garlic and basil provide fresh herbal notes, while the balsamic vinegar adds a subtle acidity that brightens the dish.

This bruschetta is served immediately to maintain the crispness of the toasted bread and freshness of the topping. It makes a light appetizer or snack with simple ingredients and minimal preparation time.
