10 Minute Sticky Ginger Beef Mince
Description
The recipe starts by cooking diced onion in olive oil to soften, then adding garlic and ginger pastes along with chili flakes to build aromatic flavor. Lean beef mince is browned and broken apart, creating a meaty, crumbly texture. A sauce made from sesame oil, soy sauce, sweet chili, honey, and rice vinegar is combined with broccoli and the beef to create a sticky glaze that coats everything evenly.
The tenderstem broccoli adds crispness to balance the meat’s texture, and sesame seeds and spring onion on top offer added nutty and fresh notes. This dish comes together quickly and can be served over rice or noodles to complete the meal.
You can adjust soy sauce for salt preference or omit chili for a milder version. To make vegetarian, substitute the beef with tofu or a meat alternative and ensure vegetables used cook quickly.

Notes
- Adjust soy sauce amount if using regular instead of low salt to control saltiness.
- Omit chili flakes and substitute mild chili sauce if less heat is desired.
- For a vegetarian option, use tofu or a meat alternative instead of beef mince.
- Use quick-cooking vegetables sliced thinly to maintain the 10-minute cooking time.
