12-Minute Garlic Steak Bites (Air Fryer or Skillet!)

12-Minute Garlic Steak Bites are small pieces of sirloin steak seasoned with a blend of garlic powder, brown sugar, chili powder, and herbs, then cooked quickly in a skillet or air fryer. The seasoning delivers a savory, slightly sweet and mildly spicy flavor coating tender steak bites. Cooking to desired doneness in minutes makes it practical for fast meals.

Description

This recipe cuts sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces and coats them with olive oil and a mix of brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and dried parsley. The sugar adds subtle sweetness and helps with browning, while garlic powder and spices provide savory depth. Cooking in a hot skillet or air fryer for about 7-8 minutes sears the pieces, locking in juices and delivering tender, flavorful bites. Stirring occasionally promotes even cooking.

The result is bite-sized steak pieces with a caramelized exterior and tender interior. They can be served as a quick main dish or appetizer, garnished with fresh parsley for color. This method allows control over doneness and is suitable for weeknight dinners or snacks when time is limited.
