15-Minute Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

15-Minute Broccoli Cauliflower Salad combines raw broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, cherry tomatoes, purple onion, and sunflower seeds in a fresh, crunchy mix. Tossed with a zesty mayonnaise and lemon juice dressing seasoned with black pepper and dried parsley, this salad balances textures and flavors, making it a refreshing side dish ready to serve shortly after preparation.

Description

This salad features bite-sized pieces of broccoli and cauliflower, which provide a crisp base. Chopped bacon adds a savory, smoky crunch complemented by bursts of sweetness from halved cherry tomatoes and a mild sharpness from finely diced purple onion. Roasted sunflower seeds contribute nuttiness and additional texture to the mix.

The dressing blends mayonnaise with lemon juice, dried parsley, and black pepper, lending a citrusy tang and herby notes while binding the ingredients lightly. Tossing the salad just before serving keeps the vegetables crisp and fresh, preserving their natural bite alongside the creamy dressing.

It's suited as a quick side for lunches or dinners where a cold, crunchy vegetable dish offsets rich or heavier main courses. The 15-minute build time suits busy cooks who want a flavorful, fresh salad without complex steps or cooking.
