3 Bean Salad Recipe is a tangy combination of Kidney beans, green beans and garbanzo beans. This classic three bean salad with homemade dressing is perfect for potlucks and picnics.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Kidney Beans 15 ounces drained and rinsed, dark
  • 1 can green beans 15 ounces
  • 1 can garbanzo beans 15 ounces drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 red onion sliced
  • 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Rinse all the beans with cold water in a colander.
  2. Place all the beans in a large mixing bowl.  Gently stir in the diced red onions.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, sugar and olive oil.
  4. Pour this mixture over the bean mixture.  Toss to coat.
  5. Season with the salt and pepper.
  6. Chill for at least 2 hours.  Then the salad is ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
