Ingredients
Sauce:
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce more if you like it spicier
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Chicken:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 chicken breasts Tyson brand, individually frozen, thin sliced, boneless, skinless
- 4 tbsp corn starch
Vegetables:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion thinly sliced, big
- 2 carrot thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper sliced
- 1 broccoli head, cut into florets
Instructions
Sauce:
- Mix all the ingredients in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Stir until honey is combined well with all the ingredients.
Chicken:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, toss the chicken breast and corn starch in a bowl to coat the chicken breast. Place the chicken pieces in the pan and cook each side for 5 minutes, turning each piece three times, cooking them for 20 minutes in total. Pour 3/4 of the sauce on the chicken pieces, lower the heat and let them simmer for 2 minutes.
Vegetables:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Saute onion until golden and soft. Add in carrots and saute until a little soft. Add in sliced bell pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes and finally toss in the broccoli florets. Drizzle the remaining sauce on the vegetables and serve on the plate with chicken.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on the chicken and vegetables and serve warm.
