4 Ingredient Guacamole Recipe

This guacamole recipe uses ripe Hass avocados mashed with lime zest and juice, fresh grated garlic, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. It produces a creamy and bright dip with fresh herbal notes and the signature avocado richness. The simplicity keeps the avocado flavor prominent. It serves well at room temperature for dipping or spreading.

Description

The 4 Ingredient Guacamole Recipe focuses on ripe Hass avocados mashed smoothly with the zest and juice of fresh limes, grated fresh garlic, and chopped cilantro. These core ingredients combine to create a fresh and creamy dip highlighting the avocado's natural buttery texture and mild flavor. Salt and black pepper are added last to enhance and balance the taste.

The mixing method allows control over the guacamole's texture by mashing to the desired smoothness or leaving it chunkier. Serving it at room temperature helps bring out its flavors fully. The inclusion of lime zest and juice provides a bright acidity that freshens the guacamole, while garlic and cilantro contribute pungent and herbal accents.

Leftover guacamole can be stored by placing it in an airtight container, squeezing additional lime juice on top, and pressing plastic wrap flat against the surface to prevent browning. Stored this way, it will keep in the refrigerator for up to three days, preserving freshness and color.
